Cahercalla Community Care Hospital – Ireland (Current Projects)
Anderson Charitable Foundation Golf Tournament
We continue to liaise closely with both the senior management at Cahercalla Community Care Hospital and Dromoland Castle Golf Club to ensure our Foundation’s annual golf tournament is a success in raising funds for Cahercalla, and we shall follow-up with Cahercalla management to review how the proceeds of our tournament are being allocated for the direct benefit of the hospital residents.
Caritas – Mauritius (Current Projects)
Easter and Christmas childrens event, and mid-year outing
We will continue to support Caritas in its effort to cater to the needs of underprivileged families in our region by funding the purchase of Easter and Christmas gifts, together with a mid-year outing for the children of these families.
Little Sisters of the Poor – Turkey (Current Projects)
Monthly funding and product support
Our Foundation continues its longstanding support for the ‘Sisters’ by providing monthly funding to assist them meet their food and service costs.
SeDEC Primary Schools – Mauritius (Current Projects)
Educational Aids
Our Foundation continues to collaborate with the headteachers and educators of all SeDEC primary schools in our region in east-Mauritius to ascertain the types of educational aids they believe will enhance the teaching-learning experience, and we then commit to delivering these materials on a school-specific basis. This ensures that targeted support is provided to address the particular needs of each school.
St. Julien RCA School
Educational Aids
Our Foundation collaborates closely with the Headteacher and educators at St. Julien RCA School to determine the types of educational aids that prove to be beneficial in aiding both the teaching and learning process; and we are particularly keen to provide the school with vibrant, colourful and interactive materials that the pupils are motivated to engage with to assist their learning experience.
Bonne Mere SEN Unit – Mauritius (Current Projects)
Sensory products and arts & crafts materials
Our Foundation continues to collaborate closely with the principal and staff at Bonne Mere SEN Unit to provide a range of sensory products and craft materials so that the ‘special needs’ of the Unit’s benefactors are addressed.
Your Place – England
‘Bedding Starter Packs’
In late-2023 Your Place requested our Foundation’s further assistance in assisting homeless residents gain self-reliance in their – sometimes difficult – journey towards living a sustainable independent life. Specifically, our Foundation began the purchase of 130 ‘Starter Bedding Packs’ which we trust will help residents at the facility to once again gain the basic skills of leading a domesticated life.
